White River Fly Fishing Guide Service

I wet my feet guiding in Montana in the mid-nineties. After a season of floating The Yellowstone and taking clients into Yellowstone National Park, I returned to The Ozarks and guided on The White River with the Blue Ribbon Fly Shop in Mountain Home, AR. I then added The Eleven Point River to my list and guided for a good friend and outfitter in Alton, MO. I have been lucky enough to experience some amazing trout fisheries along the way, but none have proven as consistently rewarding as The White River in Arkansas.

I am patient and laid back, centering safety and success as the focus of my trips.  I enjoy sharing what I have learned with clients and have been told that I am a great teacher, which I take this as a true compliment. Whether you’ve been fly fishing for years or it’s your first time, I am confident you will have a great time, catch fish, and learn a few new things. 

On top of fishing some of the best trout water in North America, the views you will experience are the best in their class! From the bluffs overlooking the river to the Bald Eagles that reside here year-round, The White River has so much to offer!  Big Browns, hearty Rainbows, beautiful Cutthroats, and feisty Brookies all call this river home.  Book a trip to come and set your hook!

• Full-day trips for two ($600, lunch included), access to quality fly fishing equipment and expertise, and custom-tied flies (by me). Water is also provided. Half-day trips ($400) do not include lunch. I suggest that you bring weather-appropriate clothing, rain gear, and sunscreen. I require a $200 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.
• We will be fishing in a 2019 22’ Top Water riverboat with oars and a Tohatsu motor. 
• Light tackle (baitless) spin trips also available.
